With the rising of the "Dark Knight" all other Social Justice workers can retire. I am being sarcastic of course, The trilogy of Batman or whatever it's called is a slap in the face to those involved in alleviating the social ailments that come about when the surplus of collective production stagnates in such a small sector of the population. The premise of the Batman trilogy stinks of Ayn-pissonhergrave-Rand ideology on film. The Trickle-Down, Chicago school of economics myth seems alive and well in this film. What makes Batman exceptional is his inherited wealth, that concept in itself is antithetical to American Democracy which was supposed to avoid European-styled aristocratic governance. President Obama spoke recently on this issue of American-Exceptionalism.In what has come to be known as the "You Didn't Build That" speech President Obama brilliantly describes how American-Exceptionalism is a collective effort and not an individual one.
Batman is a one per-center,and to believe in the benevolence of those sociopaths is foolish. Batman should have paid more taxes to replenish the nation's social capital instead of feeding his "benevolent" ego. And no he should not be able to give it to his favorite foundation like kill Gates did. Foundations have a tendency to extend their benefactors biases whereas the state is supposed to be accountable to us the people, after all we are the government.
